We need one in OKC. If I find out about that, ever, I'm buying a Garand immediately following the course.

Or, join the Ponca city rifle and pistol club and be eligible to buy a garand.

There has, but I don't think anything current. The schedule is frequently out of date, and our area gets less than annual service, IIRC.

They do a couple of dates every year ... but it's out around Grove.

Mitch... why wait? Rilfe, Caliber .30, M1 are for sale everyplace. Good shooters can be had in the $600-900 range.

I was a little late to the party... most of the good surplus lots of M2 ammo are getting hard to find... but the Greek stuff shoots just as well.

There was one on the south side of Norman I think in October, Tri City Gun Club maybe? There was another at Canadian Range near Banner last March. I went to that one, it was temps in the 30's and drizzling rain both days. Miserable.

I plan to go to another at some point, was very good for me since I had no background or instruction in proper shooting techniques.
