In curious to see his this new Pro Series for sporting clays compares to the 3-Gun Nation Pro Series show.

BTW It's totally BS that this gets to air on NBC Sports and 3GN doesn't.

As much as I like to shoot clays, it's a total "yawner" compared to 3G and the only reason it's on Network TV is because it's shot with pretty stocked wood guns and not evil black rifles...

not going to fly. not bagging on sporting clay shooters but there is no movement and it is using one gun not 3. best of luck to it but i will stick to 3GN

It is one more show on TV about guns and shooting. I hope it makes it. And please go shoot one match and come back and tell me if you liked it are you hated it. It is a hell of lot harder than it looks. I have shot trap, sporting clays and skeet for years. And I can say sporting clays is the best of them. And five stand sporting clays beats them all hands down.

I'm all for more guns and shooting on TV no matter what it is. I am curious how they plan to make it exciting.

I've never shot five stand, but before I discoverd 3 Gun I would have said that sporting clays was one of my favorite things to do. It still ranks near the top.

Just like watching bowling on TV. People still do and many other sports that we think is crazy .

I love watching golf on TV.
I really love shootin' Sporting Clays.

I do have a hard time believing it'll capture the audience's attention.
But Sporting Clays has huge money behind it. Really huge.
So they can afford to do anything they want.

I suspect this will be the format of the show. Reality TV is big right now.

If we could get Jesse and Kalani Laker to get in a huge shouting match in the middle of a 3G match the ratings would soar.

Threaten to beat the elephant dung out of another shooter trying to come in to quell the situation, and it would even get better ratings.

That's not what I like to see, but pure programs that show real competitions don't get ratings and the folks that pay to put them on TV won't back them.

You don't see professional Motocross on TV a lot, even though the stars of the sport make millions a year in salary from the factory's.

Normal TV now is a couple of drunks tossing insults and cheating on their spouses. This is why I don't watch main stream TV.

Much prefer being on here or watching some show about Grizzly's in Alaska or something.

Too bad Oklahoma boy Able Spire isnt involved. His old rival Theo Ribbs is on the show...Theo was sponsored as a junior by Bill Cosby. (who also sponsored Theo's Dad, Willy T Ribbs, the Indy car racer) Theo was named after a character on the Cosby show.

Hows that for useless trivia?

have some golf- like commetary behind the shooting... caddies changing chokes... glowing descriptions of the shot's callenges.

If the purses are large enough they will come.....
