PRI Quiet Control Brake vs Nordic Corvette

Hi Folks,

What are your thoughts and experiences between the PRI Quiet Control Brake vs the Nordic Corvette for competition? (In .223 and/or .308.)

There is quite a price difference and I would appreciate some feedback.

While we are at it, I currently run a Battlecomp BC02. What are your thoughts on it?

I have a battle comp 1.0 and it's not a comp it's a marketing tool.

I'm a fan of most things Nordic although I haven't tried their Corvette comp. I you decide to buy the Nordic check out our sponsors stores.

the corvette isnt that effective, just my opinion

Works great on 15-22 for steel challenge but never seen one on 223. A lot of folks use rolling thunder and sjc around here for 223

Mike is correct. I had a corvette on my rifle for 3 days while waiting on my seekins to arrive. I wasn't impressed. It was a prize table pull so I wasnt out anything. Just wanted to try it out.

I have a couple PRI comps and like them. One is just laying around. I'd be willing to part with it.

Thanks for the feedback. I am definitely going to be changing out the Battlecomp.

I think I am going to give the PRI QC a go.

Tech, thanks for the offer, but I'm in South Africa and getting it here will be a Customs nightmare, not worth the effort and frustration.

I don't want to stop you from trying something new but I can't say that I know or have known anyone that uses that brake. That should tell you something.

If you can get your hands on a Rolling Thunder, an SJC Titan, Seekins, or a JP then you're golden.

The corvette comp makes a nice flame thrower during night shoots. That's about it. The rolling thunder I have on now made a ton of difference.

Never looked at Taran's rifle? I think the PRI is the only comp Taran sells @TT

Cant say that I have. Taran has run a pistol grip shotgun and a 1-4x TR24 w/Triangle reticle since I started. He is a shooing freak with ability unmatched by many not the guy that's into trying new stuff like I like to do.
