Presentation Boxes?

Anyone locally make presentation boxes for pistols?

My Chief is retiring after 35 years and I want to get him something nice to go with his retirement pistol. Thinking something along the lines of a wooden box with the felt lining that is cut out for the pistol..... Like you see in the high end photos sometimes seen in Amican Handgunner, etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hobby Lobby makes some of those deals I think. You may want to ask them about it before you just whip our your pistol in the framing area. They do their framing pretty cheap and run 50% every other week or two. The 50% off rate is really good.

Troy, I have seen them doing something like this at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. I do not know if you have to bring your own box or if they sell them, but I think they do the velvet covered foam insert.

Thanks guys. Hobby Lobby only does shadow boxes. Matter of fact when I went in the lady as doing an AK47. True story.
