In wanting to send my business to a forum sponser and being relativley new to SC I was hoping to get some feedback regarding the ammo from Precision One. Anything I should be concerned with regarding 9mm, .45, and 5.56 ammo? I have never purchased remanufactured ammo (well, at least to my knowledge).

Just looking for some ammo for the Glocks and my new Daniel Defense Rifle (if it ever gets here).

Thanks in advance for any replies and/or experiences.

Cheers...

Jeffs ammo is great. I have been shooting it for about 2 years without a hitch...

I shoot his .223, 9mm, .45, .44 Special, and .44mag...

I will soon try his .380, even though I have shot some thru his gun...I want some for myself...as I just got a .380.

I talked to Jeff last night...He is trying as hard as he can to keep up with the demands...

He is a great guy and he will stand behind anything...

I don't think you can go wrong.

Steve

Just the reply I was hoping for. Thanks for your input Steve. It is greatly appreciated.

I've used it before in various pistols and have had no issues.

I agree with Steve. I've shot Precision One Ammo including .380 and 38 special. Jeff is great to work with and really does work with Forum members to give them the best deal possible. Buy with confidence.

A big thank you for the reply Dave and craigp! I would much rather spend my money locally with a business that cares and has a vested interest in what we do rather than being a "credit card number" with a large retailer.

Cheers to a nice weekend...

I was thinking of trying to organize a group buy of .223 ammo for some friends and family. Has anyone ever done this with him? Anyone interested in going into a group buy to try and get a better deal per round?

It can't hurt to ask. I would be agreeable and I think some of my family members might be as well.
Dave

I really believe that at this time, it won't work. I spoke with Jeff last week. He said everyone is having trouble getting supplies...and, some are non-existant.

If the manufacturers can't get supplies...it is hard for them to get a big order ready for new customers...

But, It wouldn't hurt...

If you want to try, count me in...

Paco does not believe that last part :P

Jeff makes good stuff. He probably can't keep up with orders right now because people went full-retard and started panic buying/ordering/stockpiling. (This is why the site is offline I would guess)

For one, thanks for all the nice things said on this thread....THANK YOU
I always appreciate return business...that means i am doing things right.

.....and you all are right. We have been bombarded with orders and supplies are or are not coming in. I am trying to keep up with them, but it is hard. I have put the website up for mainenance (or down for main) to help control the flow of orders. I am in this for the long run and it is a hard decision to turn away some business.

At nights mostly during the week, I am working on shipment calculations and need the website on to use the shipping calculator...(hint....hint that is when you can sneek orders in).

I will always do my best to take care of PSF members...

If you need to get a hold of me, you know my info...please leave a message so i know you called...

Thanks..

Jeff

Thanks Jeff!

For anyone wondering about P1's product, here is some chrono data:

Boggyhead Rifle Range, 17 Nov 2012, 0800hrs, 44 degrees F.
55gr FMJ LC case

Colt w/20 inch 1/12" twist barrel.
Lo: 2736fps
Hi: 2850fps
Av: 2794fps
Es: 113.4fps
Sd: 35.95fps
10 rounds in 1 inch at 25yds.

Bushmaster W/20 inch 1/9" twist barrel.
Lo: 2862fps
Hi: 3005fps
Av: 2908fps
Es: 138.1fps
Sd: 48.21fps
10 rounds in 1.5" at 25yds.

I'm sure I did not give Jeff's ammo the justice it deserves! 8-)

Thanks for the data on the 223. However, since the end of nov- beginning of dec, we have switched powders and increased the fps per round. It should be around 3150 fps. We are using a clean military grade powder now.

The older product I loved but the lack of supply forced me to change. This new product is even better. It is quick and clean.

Thanks for the info, Jeff. Hopefully, supplies will get back closer to normal soon.
It's a pleasure doing business with your company. Everything I have used from P1 has been outstanding.
I've used (so far): .380 ACP, .38 Special, .357 Mag, 9mm, .45 ACP, .44 Rem Mag, .223 Rem
Results with all have been great.
Hope to see you at the SCACA show in Greenville on Feb. 2 & 3, assuming the show goes on as planned.
