The Practical Rifle match at Oil Capital gun club is this coming Saturday April 6th. The weather looks perfect! We will shoot 4 stages with a pistol round count of about 14 and a rifle round count about 50. We run a 22 rim fire division also. Everyone needs to dust off the old blaster and come out and try and out shoot your buddy for internet bragging rights. Sign up starts at 9:00 and walk through starts at 9:50.

in the .22 division can you shoot .22 rifle and center fire pistol or vice versa?

Yes, you can shoot a 22 rifle and a center fire pistol. A 22 pistol is not advised at this time because we use some steel targets at times for the pistol part of the match. I am working on running a S&W M&P 22 pistol in the furture but have not recieved my magazines from S&W yet,
I have been switching from a 556 caliber AR rifle on some matches to a HK416- 22 most of the time now. 50 yards is as far as Oil Capital has for the Defensive Rifle match. the other bays are 20 to 30 yards long.
Some shooters are shooting a pistol caliber carbine also.
