Practical Rifle Match @ Oil Capital Saturday Aug 4th

Who is going and what is involved? I emailed the address listed, it failed.

I'm planning on going this weekend. What do I need to bring?

Bring a rifle a pistol and 150 rounds of rifle and 75 rounds of pistol. You will probably only shoot half if it but too much is never enough.

You dont need much. Bring a rifle, some magazines, and your trigger finger. I dont have a vest or anything else fancy like that, but i still go. Hearing protection and glasses are also needed. A sling might also help.

My wife got a couple pictures.

Stage 1 - 8 targets, 2 shots each, engage all from behind cover.

Stage 2 - 6 targets, 2 shots each, moving left to right.

Stage 3 - Start in "Hostage" position, pick up gun on buzzer, shoot each target once, from closest to farthest, then re-engage each for 2 total each.

And they forgot mine. Looks like they missed all the "Stock" class scores, I know a couple people who weren't named "Warren" shooting irons. Including Slowpoke's boy.

It looks like there is a page missing or something. They do not have mine or my son's. I shot stock and he shot rimfire. Oh well, it was a lot of fun anyway and we will be back to shoot it again.

Do us a favor when you guys shoot that match and tell the guys on your squad about the forum. I try to post info as I get it but it would be a lot easier if someone from their match did it for me.

Looks like I've got the accuracy fine, just need to work on picking up my speed a little.
