I was in Lubbock this morning and walked into the local gun store, Sharp Shooters. I went over to the powder section and immediately saw Unique, Bullseye, Titegroup, Varget, Power Pistol and many more. I started drooling and thought I had hit pay dirt. I picked up the first 1lb jug and it was $39.95. I soon realized that all of the one pounders were $39.95. Then I saw a big jug labeled as $159.95 and I thought...that is not too bad. Then I realized that it was a 4 pound jug and not an eight pounder. I thought for a second I was in Dong's.
Earlier, I saw a 50 rd Federal blue box of 22s for $5.95. I refuse to buy anything from people who price their merchandise like this. I guess it is a free market and price is driven by demand, however sellers that take advantage of the current market will not get any of my business. I may end up throwing rocks instead of shooting, however I have my principles. ha If they would have WST, I might have thought about it.
