Does anybody know someone who has an M249 SAW / Minimi that needs some 5.56 links? I have a bunch of them, exact number unknown. I'll call it a couple handfuls. They are new-ish, not rusted. I had about 9000 rounds of 5.56 blank ammo and have been supplying some of the training units that come up short on their brass turn-in after training, and have a bunch of links still left. Let me know, I'll throw them in a flat rate box and send them off. These are honest pickup and items found during connex cleanouts that would have been pitched otherwise, not the result of pilfered ammo or anything illegal.
I've heard of folks selling this stuff, but since I got it all free and am not using it, trying to make a buck on it seems like a dick move, so they're free to good bunker.
