From the Match Director:
OK, we wanted to get this out there in advance. We plan on having another hose down match, April 13 (second Saturday of the month). There will be four stages, 270 rounds required. Cost will be $35. Expect to see lots of paper and steel!

Don't forget our Classifier match in March!

See you at the range

That's like 70 rounds a stage, I think I shoot that many rounds when we have steel at OKCGC pistol matches. Does that count as my own personal hose down. I was planning on going this since I saw some of the videos from last year and heard it might be back, but I'm not sure my wife if going to be very happy with me if I go since I'm working over-time the two weeks prior to this match, and I hardly ever work over-time. Who am I kidding, I never work over-time.

Just come on up to the monthly matches at Ponca. You will get better at shooting steel. We have it and use it. I probably surprised everyone by not having the stars and PP rack in the match this month. They will be back in April.

got enough 9mm to make this match.. excited... i love this match... if you enjoy shooting you need to make this match... nothing better than shooting a 60+ round stage!

any previews of stages??

im still wondering about stage designs myself. depending on the steel i need to know if i need to bring 300 or 600 rounds :P
one of the great things about ponca is there is always lots of steel..

I should be finishing up the stages this week. Plan on all of our steel being in a stage somewhere. I never can remember exactly how many pieces of steel that we have, but I think it is in the 60 range. I asked our builders to have several more ready for the April match. They said they would try. I have not decided how to activate the swinging star yet this time, it is a big load on a popper. So I need a little more time to think of a cute activator. Bottom line is we will have at least 65 pieces of steel and may be 70 for this match.

Scott ya got pockets right? get ya some of those cargo pants lol I know it would really be good load practice for sure! Later,

Kirk

David Gildon shot one of them with a revolver. Quite an interesting sight. When you are in revolver division, all stages are revolver neutral. You just have to reload a bit more than the average person.

I hope to one day have a little spare change to get me a revolver to play with you guys, I know when Jesse let me borrow his 625 I had a blast! never real high in the overall standings but I got a "B" classification out of it and actually a better percentage than my limited classification :senile: Later,

Kirk
