Palmetto Shooters Forum exists for the free exchange of information, including pure opinion.
Politics, religion, and concealed carry calibers all tend to be very personal and passionate topics.

The main political topic of the forum is 2nd ammendment.
Topics about national concealed carry laws, open carry laws, the right and necessity of American citizens to be armed, are what we see most.
However, this is a very important election season comming up so we expect there will be some discussion about candidates.

We encourage discussion of presidential debates, candidates backgrounds and positions, candidates experience etc., however when any thread gets off track and looses its effectivness or spirals into a pissin' contest one of the moderators may send a PM asking to pull back on the reins, if that doesn't work we'll lock the thread to keep it from getting any worse, and if a fight just jumps to another thread we may as you to take a break for a week or so.

Thanx to everyone

Response:
Thanks for pointing that out. I'm about to begin discussing Obama's intent to us an Executive Order to enact gun legislation and I figured I'd re-read what I wrote about political discussion before I began. I saw this spelling error. I edited the original post so it now correct.

Democratic Party? NO!

Republican Party? NO!

Pizza Party? YES!!!

Well, with the Pizza Party, you depend (generally) on one person to provide the pizza. Too much power given to one person, IMO. In the Ice Cream Party, however, everyone shares their favorite topping/ice cream flavor. Builds community ties, and such.

What about a POT Party? Then we could all just sit around, eat Hostess Ding Dongs, listen to a little "Stairway", and let nature take its course...dude.

At least, that's what I heard they do. ;)

I vote for George Washington and a reboot of the constitution.
If not him then give me the gipper, Ronald Regan, and Margaret Thacher
A time when the world respected America and England.
If not them then give me Teddy Rosevelt and his gunboat diplomacy.

I believe there is a saying about how there are no honest men in politics because politics are not honest. Anyone with a sense of ethics is either corrupted or unable to maintain working in such an environment, and so they move on to more honorable occupations, such as janitorial services or mechanics. Y'know, things that actually better society. ;)

What is everyone doing to try and get S. 115 out of committee and voted for? Have you contacted your state senator yet?

I'm too busy sowing the seeds of sedition and treason to worry about the nuances of our corrupt political machinations.

I don't always agree with you, but that is one hell of a quote. :)
