I love my J-frame but if I had to buy one now it would probably be a Beretta Nano. I haven't shot one but they look awesome.

Also I have a 25 ACP Mauser WTP from the 1920s or 30s that I could conceal in a Speedo but it's not very reliable.

Hard to beat a j frame but they are kind of large for pocket carry in jeans. There are lots of holster options to make that easier, you want one that blocks the front profile of the gun so it doesn't "print" in the pocket. I've tried a bunch and found the Mika pocket holster to work the best for me. The gun comes out of it easily and it just looks like I'm happy to see you instead of saying gun in the pocket. I also like the Kahr PM9 but seldom pocket carry it since I can hide it better in an appendix carry holster David E made for me.
I've tried most of the 380's and of those, the Kahr P380 is the best trigger, sights, etc. I kind of decided I can hide the j frame or PM9 about as well as the 380's and I'd rather have a 9mm or .38/357 instead of a .380. I also have a tiny North American Arms PUG .22 magnum that I carry when I can't carry a real gun. It's a slick little 5 shot derringer type revolver that will be better than a sharp stick if I get caught out somewhere I need a get off me gun.
Whatever, you get, you need to practice with. David let's experienced shooters draw from a pocket at Heartland. I found out how really slow pocket carry is when I tried it with a snubby. But.....you can shoot from your pocket like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQrOsMjAVEQ&list=UUMEqfzg9ZVgRhs66huDm8-Q&index=2&feature=plcp

I should add that I'm pretty much over pants pocket carry. It's always been a no-go in jeans because of the way the pockets are cut, and I only have one or two pairs of slacks that I can draw from easily. The J-frame either goes in a coat pocket or an appendix carry holster.

BTW the optimal J-frame setup is old-school wood Magna grips with a Tyler T-grip adapter.

I love a J--frame but you have to dress around it to pocket carry. I do it regularly with this

But the absolute most comfortable set up is a small 380 in a DeSantis. I just always felt under gunned with mine.

P-32 from before the p3at was out, still my go to pocket gun. the .380's are tempting now. Had a beretta 21a way back in the day, but it was a little thick for pocket carry. Loved the tip up barrel.

Ruger LCR, In a MA1 jacket easy or in side my leather vest. In the vest I put everything else in the other side to balance out the one pounder. In the MA1 it could be shot very easy like in the Video above.

I had an LCP sold it and now I want another one. I could easily hit head shots at 10-15 yards which suprised me.

I had a 642 at one time, good gun just didnt "feel" right. I have a little bobcat 32 for the kids to shoot but it sure is expensive ammo

I'd like to see how you get the two spare rounds out of the grip. The media pics I've seen for the last several months are all the same picture of the side or a 3/4 view.

Spring loaded opening at the bottom of the grip opens and they drop right out.(It wouldnt be a speed-reload!)
I checked this gun out at SHOT, and really liked it...for what it is.
