I find myself pocket carrying throughout most of the year. It's always shorts weather in Florida. Hell, I only own 1 pair of pants that isn't camo, but have 20 or so pairs of shorts. When you are wearing shorts and tshirts, or shorts and a polo shirt all year, pocket carry seems to be the best option most of the time. When I lived in Oklahoma, I carried a full size 1911. Just isn't practical down here.

Speedo at the pool conceal pretty good?

Yup. If I'm wearing shorts, I'll grab a 642 for a quick run to wally world.

I've never tried it. I use an IWB holster. But then, I don't bounce around between guns or change for the seasons. G19 conceals just fine even under a t-shirt in my Don Hume holster.

Which Hume do you use?

Hell, I don't know what model it is. Brown leather IWB with spring clip. I've had it for years and the reinforcing band on top is still stiff and shows no sign of folding over.

I only pocket carry when I'm dressed up for work. I find that my normal AIWB carry doesn't look right when I'm in a suit, so I picked up a Glock 43 and a BORAII Eagle 2 Pocket Holster and it works fine. I usually find a place in other pockets to stash a couple extra mags so I'm not too concerned about the reduced capacity.
