Pocket Carry

Does anyone else pocket carry in the summer? I know my buddy Troy will say it isn't a very good choice and I agree but I find myself slipping a smal revo in my cargo shorts when running to the store etc.

I was pocket carrying my Colt Pocket Nine up until a couple weeks ago when I bought the Remora No Clip. Now, I freed up space for pocket pool.

I drop the LCP or LC9 in my pocket. It sucks though cause I have to put my pants up over my ass crack and boxers cause the weight of the gun pulls my pants down. Not very ghetto fabulous but effective.

Forum member 'jrvinny' makes the nicest leather pocket holsters I've ever used.
Very slick design. I carry my LCP all the time in one.

they have a removable flap if you want to carry in your rear pocket so the gun looks like a big wallet
These pics do not do this holster justice, the leather work is perfect
Retention is perfect, it draws nice, stays put in the pocket, etc.

Nope.

This is the only way I carry but you can't do it with all guns. I do it with a Smith 642 that slides right out. A boxier design or one with an external hammer may not work all that great.

I have one of those clips on my LCP and LC9. I only use it to help keep the gun in my pocket holster. You can't get your hand around the grip when it's right against your pocket.

I'm not a fan of the clips on the side of the pistol.
I'd much rather have a holster that covers the trigger. I don't feel like shooting myself in the leg when a bundle of fabric gets inside the trigger guard.

Does anyone pocket carry anymore. I quit some time ago and just carry a full sized gun. Not worth the risk to be caught with ONLY a pea shooter. I don't think I even have one anymore

I've never tried it. I use an IWB holster. But then, I don't bounce around between guns or change for the seasons. G19 conceals just fine even under a t-shirt in my Don Hume holster.
