Plated vs jacketed?

Right. I had only been looking at the 124s, since that's what I shoot. And the price difference is almost nill. Get to heavier bullets and you start saving using plated.

3k IS a mess of bullets for me. And that's exactly what I did last time. Still using the last of them up.
I wanted to jump in on some of the group buys a while back here, but it wasn't in the budget at the time. And, I'm a ways from OKC.
