It sounded hilarious, and it is, but this article is pretty serious.

If you don't subscribe to the OutdoorHub, you definitely should. I don't really have any interest in hunting, fishing, or camping, but their newsletter is out-****ing-standing.

Just added my my favorite sites!
We bought a 1/4 beef two years ago. Some of it is still in the freezer.
Deer, elk, fish, fowl, are our favorites.
I constantly LoL when we serve burgers, casseroles, etc at home and at work, and casually bring up hunting. Some say they hated the taste of deer while eating the second burger. :D

We have a Pot Luck dinner at work Thursday, and there will be venison meatballs in Italian gravy on the menu from me.

Very interesting article. I'm certainly no liberal or hipster, but I am learning to hunt (I'm 34), and the reasoning cited in the article is not far from mine. Hunting is simply the most honest way to come by food, and I think there is something missing spiritually in a person who doesn't know how to feed himself.

ETA: if I see anyone wearing skinny jeans in the woods, I'm still gonna worry.
