I recently made a few purchases off of various forums to be used to create a new Commander sized carry gun. I ended up with a Caspian frame and a Colt slide and a 38super barrel. I dropped it all off at The Action Works (luckily Don Williams only live a few miles from me). Not sure if I got neighbor treatment, but he got it all up and running in short order for a very reasonable price. He had to do some milling on the frame to get the proper barrel fit, and create a VIS (which the Caspian frame did not have). The trigger is just a little under 5# which is fine for a carry gun (but very crisp).

It is not a looker, but function wise it is fantastic (although I haven't shot it yet)
