Paracord Rifle Sling Project

I started making a sling for my AR-15 using 550 Paracord. This sling will have 3 50 foot lengths of Paracord. in a survival event, the sling could be undone and the paracord or the 7 strings inside the paracord could be used.

It is not done yet but here is a picture of it started.

If you ever REALLY think you will need to undo it, you might try making Slatt's Rescue Belt as a sling. It can be completely "unwound" in a few seconds after untying the final knot.

Here's a pic of one made as a bracelet.

The three ways I have found to make them are:

Slats, easy to undo

knitting, easy to undo

Double solomon knot.

Lots of youtube stuff on paracord TAIT (Tying it all togehter) has some good videos.

I am starting a second one using knitting. That way you all cannot make fun of me for knitting :lol:

I have also just completed a dog leash with matching collar in orange and black and some neck badge holders with safety break aways.
