We'll this post just cost me $500 thanks for the heads up. I was in the market for a psd lower.

 yeah sorry to good not to pass up.

I have two of there lowers one built and the other unbuilt. First one had a little difficulty wtih the bolt catch on a spikes lpk, the James firearms gave me a CMMG that fit free of charge. My second lower I test fit a PSA kit and the catch seems fine, just need a few more parts to finish the lower. I am really looking forward to picking up a WMA lower then a PSA at some point.

I picked up 5 stripped and one blimished lower. The blimished lower I'm going to try an experiment on. If someone wants one let me know I don't need 6 lowers.

Someone should forward them this link mabey they would like to be a sight sponsor. Seems to be a lot of intrest in their products.

Picked up my two 'gunsmith special' unfinished receivers today. Look pretty good. Checking with calipers only everything looks to spec; we'll see once I get a LPK in them. Roll marks are very, very shallow... that might have been the issue.

Even if a little filing work is needed to smooth the edges, looks like a nicely cast & machined low shelf lower.

So when you talk roll marks are you talking engraving is shallow, or something totally different?

Yes, but I think it is a stamping more than an engraving. I'll try to get pics after the holiday.

The issue with the lowers is derpalerp ground too much off of the rear of the receiver. It doesn't affect the integrity of the lower but you will notice what I'm talking about when you put a grip on it.
And they're forged not cast
:)

Paco, pretty sure this is cast. Non-machined surfaces are left as formed and the casting texture is apparent. Could be wrong, but I've got some unfinished castings before that have the same surface texture.

I got 2 of these today. They look good to me. I can see where the blemish is, and there are a few dings here and there, but they will function fine. Probably going to use cerakote when I build. Worth $29 all day long 8-).

I got mine today. I am trying to send a couple of them back due to very light engraving on the non blemish ones, the ones I am keeping look fantastic, I got one blemished and the engraving is very light on it as well. Not too concerned there. All in all I'm very happy with it, just to have a nice lower made here in sc, and different than psa.

I would post pics but have not been to how to post pics 101 class yet. If you like pm your email and I'll send pics.
