Anyone have any experience with these for an AR build? Any reviews either positive or negative? I'm considering one for a future build.

Thanks!

I have 1 full PSA rifle I built and 2 more lowers awaiting their destiny. I love mine. My father in law who is a Spikes and RRA die hard was very impressed and now wants a PSA.

I just built an AR yesterday using their Gadsden flag lower. I also have a couple other lowers of theirs and see no issues with them for when I build them up.

Here it is with the parts I used:

Here it is finished:

I have assembled several PSA lowers, using PSA lower build kits, all went together well, no issues

I just bought a complete AR from Them last Saturday. Got to shoot it today (Sunday) Nice. As expected. This is my 3rd one from them..

PSA is as good as any lower on the market.i've used 3 of them very nice.i'm also a big fan of there uppers good stuff

We got there about 11:00 and didn't leave till about 3:00 pm.

My Nephew and myself fired lots of stuff, then we got the .22 rifles out...We fired about 600 rounds thru them...We had a great time, as usual...

We were there at the same time then. I was the big guy shooting the .22LR AR15. I had already test fired the new AR I just built first thing when I got there.

I didn't keep shooting the new AR due to a safety selector issue that was causing a delayed fire when pulling the trigger. I had the issue when dry firing the lower when I was building it immediately after installing the safety selector, but thought it worked itself out. The first few bullets I shot at the range, the AR was fine. Then I reloaded, and then I started having the delayed fire. So I put it away and broke out the M&P 15-22.

I fixed my new AR when I got home. I did some research and found out that the maker of the lower parts kit I used (rock river arms), had some out of spec safety selectors about 3-4 years ago. Which is when I bought the LPK and just got around to using it. I had to take a file to the indention in the safety selector that the back part of the trigger disconnect sits in and basically enlarge it slightly so it didn't hang up on the edge of the indention.

I remember seeing you there. Wish I would have said something to you.

We were on the far end. We were shooting the Gatorade bottles screwed to pieces of 2x4"s...

Hope you got your problem with the AR ironed out.

I have to change flash hiders on my new AR...This one is aftermarket. It does a great job as far as muzzle bounce, but, it is so danged loud I can't stand it...It sounds like a .308...going back to an A2 hider...

Steve

I'm pretty sure my filing the selector fixed it. I will find out saturday for sure.

Yeah, i noticed the loud AR. I just have an A2 on mine and only comp i would consider is a Battlecomp. I would like to get a AAC blackout flash hider though. They are the shiznit when it comes to complete flash suppression.

Thanks for the info... I think I'll pick one up next time they're on sale, or I give in to an impulse buy...

May not build anything right now but hey, never hurts to have a lower in the safe for a future build, right?
