Friend at work and I discuss movies and shows all the time and he just dropped off "Over-There" on my desk last Thursday. Released in 2005 on F/X, they only did one season for "declining viewership"? Really? Maybe it's hard to sell a TV-MA rated show in primetime; that's the only reason I can come up with. I have no idea how I missed this one. It might be the best (certainly one of) production I've ever seen. Story of a 3rd Army Infantry platoon in Iraq. Reminded me a lot of Generation Kill, which I also thought was very good. Get beyond the weird character introductions of the first two minutes, then you'll be hooked.

Yep, one of my favorite shows only lasted 14 episodes for the same reason. And to think that it spawned a whole sci-fi cult following akin to Star Wars and Star Trek....
