our new puppy

Introducing Alba, our new English springer spaniel pup from way south Texas. Bred by David Jones of Strong Kennel, a student of Talbott Radcliffe [Saighton dogs] in Wales.

She is 12 weeks old and was whelped on 9-11-11. Her AKC name will be Strong's Prairie Spectre. She is white with black head.

So I can't write a $1000 check for a new gun, but my sweetie (Andrine my spouse) has no objections to a new pup. Sound wisdom. Another gun dog beats another shotgun etc any day. [But I am still hopeful of one day owning a Kreighoff]

We broke my buddies white lab in today on some mallards. For a 1 yr old she did well.
