Anyone else on networking sites?

Find me on:
Facebook: Andrew McDaniel
twitter.com/andrewmcdaniel
andrewmcdaniel.posterous.com

I love networking sites, probably a generational thing, but i love being able to keep up with everyone I know.

I have a Facebook because of my kids and one or two friends but don't go there much and i also have a Myspace account to play a game called Mafia Wars which is all i do there.

I have a Facebook account...under Steve Bales...

I have had relation find me on line that I haven't seen in 30 years....Not that I was looking for them...

Steve

I have considered creating a facebook page for the palmetto shooters forum
I wondered if it would be of any real value?

I know that is a generational thing, therefore, being of the previous generation I don't know that much about it.
the company I work for has a facebook page, I'll have to ask the person who manages it if they get any value from it.

any thoughts on it?

:?:

i've never used facebook, twitter, myspace, or any of that type of thing. i've always considered them useless and primarily geared toward people that either aren't very internet literate or kids. sort of like AOL was.

they have it on facebook as well actually. :P

I like Facebook cause I've reconnected with a bunch of old friends I hadn't seen in awhile.

Both my Wife and I use it a lot. I have a degree in finance, and she has degrees in Biology and an MAT. We are 25 and 27 respectively. We both are professionals. We know how to use computers plenty well. We are young, but far from "kids." Its an easy way to keep up with friends. I know everyone on my pages, and I like to know whats going on in my friends lives. I think all of this lends itself to being more of a generational thing, but it's becoming much less so.

About a PSF page, what can it hurt. I don't think it will be used that much by forum members, but if people add your page to theirs, it might lead more people to the group. I'd do it.

I know facebook helped get back into contact with many old friends that I hadn't heard from in years. I like being able to keep track of em even in the midst of folks getting numbers changed, etc...

Can't tell you how annoying it is to try and call up and old buddy and either get a wrong number or the dreaded: "This number is no longer in service".
