Well my shotgun came in to USSA today but they havn't checked it in yet. I was hoping to pick it up today. I was bummed out. I really suck at waiting. Will post pix when I get it. Also I have 3 brand new AP Custom 4x4 shot shell caddies waiting for some action. I hope tomorrow is the day.

corrected it for you
3 gunners beware. I ordered the Mossberg 930 jm pro 22" barrel 9 shot and a Loki 3 gun rifle. I already had a Gen 4 Glock 34. Once they arrive I will have all the necessary tools to destroy the stages. Look out!
Good luck

Congrats on the Loki rifle!
I've been itching to try one out so if I meet you at a match, expect me to fondle your wares.

I don't know if you've heard the saying you can't rape the willing, but it applies here. Hopefully I can start to meet many of our Boomershooter.com comrades.

Sweet!

The Loki 3G and G34 are both on my short list. Are you planning on making the April OKCGC match?

...and you're a dern sight better off than I am! I don't even need tools to make a fool of myself!

Well I picked up the Mossberg today and I have to say I dig this shotgun. It's my first semi auto. I have had a bolt action 410, a mossy 500 12 ga, and a mossy 590a1 12ga., but no semi auto. I don't have anything to compare it to except the shotguns listed. That said it is much faster obviously than any in the aforementioned list, especially the bolt action. :hee20hee20hee:
I put 50 rounds of Federal Target load 1oz. 71/2 shot 1250fps through it after work. I hadn't cleaned it. It was just as it came from Mossberg. It ran perfect except for the lifter trying to eat my thumb about 5 times. Does anyone know where to get it welded up in the Tulsa area to further avoid the bite.

I did get to practice loading weakhand 4 shells at a time from my new ap custom 4x4 carriers and I liked it. I hadn't ever loaded a shotgun in that fashion. Once I don't have to worry about getting my thumbnail ripped off I think I will be able to load that way pretty quickly. I'm getting pumped for an actual 3gun event.

Pics or it didn't happen.

I also have the 4x4 shell caddy's and I love them!! I sure would like to look at your new shotty and compare it to all the work I have done to mine. Send me a PM if you want to go shoot some shotguns and compare them to each other.

That lifter really doesn't look that bad. I'd just yank it out and take some emory cloth and round the edges so they are smoooooooth. Take the trigger group out of an SLP and look at the top side of the lifter sometime, they are pure medieval. Hopefully they didn't make that one the same way.

After having the Mossberg for a couple of months now I have figured out how to load 4 shells weakhand without the lifter biting me. Also I have put a few rounds down range .12ga Bird - 885, 12ga Slug - 45, 12ga Buck - 30. So far it has cycled everything. I have been using mostly cheap Federal 100 round bulk bird shot, 7 1/2, Fiocchi low recoil 9 pellet 00 buck, and Fiocchi 7/8 ounce low recoil slug. I have zero complaints, well maybe that the piston area gets pretty dirty after about 300 rounds, but other than that it has been top notch.

Still waiting on the Loki rifle. Should be here soon.

Where did you get the jm pro and how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking.

I was considering one of these and wasn't sure if id like them or could afford them....

Also if your around the norman area id love a chance to shot one. ;)

With shipping I paid 571.00. This was at the high end of my budget so I couldn't get a benelli or anything like that. You are welcome to shoot it anytime. I will try to be at the okc 3 gun match every couple of months or so.

571 is above my top end but if its worth it I may start saving for it. I can't afford a benelli.I don't know when my next match will be. Except for high plains shotgun challenge. I'm not planning on any.

The Loki 3G came in on Friday. I will try to get some pics up as soon as I finish moving in to the new house in a day or two. Got the rifle sighted in at 200 yds. Shot one 3 shot group at 100yds prone rested on mag 1.25". I can live with that. I am sure the rifle will shoot better but I might not. Using the Leupold Prismatic for an optic and shooting 55gr hornady steel match. The shots were stringing vertically. I will have to try a few different types of cheap brass cased ammo to find one it likes and shoots well. I'm sure it will fairly well with any of them.
