Just .223
No min caliber for deer here or season or limits.
I find .223 knocks them over just as well as anything else as long as you keep the range in Im not into shooting deer out beyond 200m anyway so it does me fine shoulder and neck shots are what I go for and it doesn't let me down.
Yep they sure are in velvet now. Roar is from march through to late April depending on when the frosts start.

Closest I've been is Australia.
I have a High School Class mate that lives in New Zealand. She says its awesome that you can shoot a stag in the morning, catch a trout at noon, and surf in the afternoon.
