Here you go....

I know this was beaten down in the ground and out of town last year.
But I forget.
Registration states;
"Must shoot A Different Gun Division Each Day"
So...
Can you shoot 2 different divisions with the same gun?
Or...
Do you have to shoot 2 different guns in 2 different divisions?
I know Tony knows but some how I don't have his phone number.
To bad, so sad, granddad.

Yes you can shoot the same gun but in different divisions. I shot L10 with my ss gun last year and planned on shooting ss the next day but got rained out.

That is the same plan as I am trying to shoot as much ss as possible before nationals in May.

Thanks for all the help from everyone in getting this info started. I'll try to do better. Answer a couple of questions about the match.

If you want to shoot both days, sign up for a different Division. Same gun if you want. I'll probably shoot my CZ 9mm with hi caps on day one in Limited Minor, then shoot the same gun in Production on day two.

Stages are nearly finished, and will be posted soon, as soon as they are tweaked a little. Round count right now is 202 each day, but that may increase a little. Lots of steel, movers and shakers, as well as some of the props that everyone either loves or hates. Plenty of variety in the stages.

I appreciate the help in getting the entry form posted to one of the earlier replys. I can't figure out how to attach a file to this note. Entry form will be posted later today to www.oldfortgunclub.com, if it isn't already there.

We are still having problems with getting the match set up for registration on PractiScore. We'll keep working on it. In the meantime, you can mail the entry form to me on the address shown on the form.

Note that we are starting a little early, to get all the stages finished within a reasonable time. Shooters meeting is 8:30 each day. If you need a place to stay in Fort Smith, look at the Candlewood Suites. Call the Fort Smith property direct at (479) 424-3800 and ask for the Gun Club Preferred Rate. Single for $77, double for $85, and suite for $95. Not quite as classy as the Motel 6 (see note above) but close to the Range. This property is Gun Friendly. Both the General Manager and the Director of Sales hold carry permits, and have no problem with you coming through the lobby carrying all you gear, including guns.

In any event, I hope this answers a few questions. This is going to be a great match, with free lunch and complimentary Rolaids. I'll keep everyone updated.

As noted, Deb Pankratz got on line registration and squading through PractiScore started. If you have already mailed your entry form, you can still enter and squad on PractiScore. We'll make any adjustments. I will watch online entries, and if you don't show up in a few days on line, I will make the entry for you. You will get an email from [email protected] (Deb Pankratz) to squad. If you have problems, let us know, and we will take care of any problems.
