Oklahoma Point Series?

... then man on man at the end of the year. [/quote]

I can't wait until the end of the year!

There is a class system for a reason. Head to head between a C-class shooter and Kurt Miller would be an absolute joke. If you are going to get shooters involved and not alienate the lower-classed shooters, then a class system must be used.

Kurt Miller is only going to shoot half of the matches due to work. Mike Pinto is going to be off shooting major matches all summer and will likely miss a match or two. Jesse Tischauser sucks and won't be a problem.

just trying to find a way to get the sandbagger to not walk away with it. As much fun as we make about sandbagging, you put a point series by class and you are going to see the worst in folks, trust me.....

I know you where referring to me and I going to write a book on the art of sandbagging. Sandbaggin is not a bad thing. Anyone can do it. People just don't like it because they didn't think of it. Think about it. Its following the rules, EXACTLY!

As far as sandbagging goes, it is CHEATING! We all know someone that sandbags. Some even brag about it. Perhaps it is time for us to make them accountable for it. I consider it to be unsportsmanlike conduct and maybe they should not be allowed to participate further. I don't know the rule book as well as I should, but I suspect there is some type of rule that could be used to stop this behavior.

Just my .02

You can use my name now that I am here. I got bumped to B class for winning. Nothing sandbagger about that. The art of sandbagging in USPSA is simple. You spend $1500 on classes your first year. You shoot 15k plus rounds of 9, 40, 223, 12 gauge ammo. You shoot every classifier like you are trying to make GM like you should. You don't so you end up a C class shooter because you don't practice weakhand shooting you practice movement and runnin and gunning. You can shoot field courses like an A class shooter on a good day so you go to a major match and you win C class. They bump you up to B class.

I won C Open at the ProAm, no more C class for me. I was 2nd C class production at area 4 in 2009, no more C class for me.

Its not sandbaggin . its getting better at the actual shooting we do at matches faster than you can get better at the all around shooting that you do in classifiers..
This damn jumping around scroll bar is killing me. my wordsa re all misspeleed for sure now. i can;t see what I am typing and i can;t type without looking at my fingers.

To make it fair you have to come up with a rolling average of sorts. Say for instance you win a match or even finish top 5. You woul need to be in the top classification. There is a pretty good group of shooters here in the top 10 or so. Anyone of those guys could win our 3 gun match (if Kurt was not there). If someone wants to shoot ever match in the bottom 5 all year so they can win at the end of the year they won't be having as much fun as they could if they where finishing in at the top every match.

You just have to do like the USPSA and have a governing body that decides hey its time to bumpo this shooter up a class. Pinto is a top shooter and he should be in the top group not the 2nd group. He is sandbaggin. If that is done by committee you can't get mad at anyone for being unfair or biased.

The spell check button works - if you click on it it will pop up and show you what is mispelled - if you have pop ups blocked - then it wont work

I dont have any issues on my mac....lets get together and drink some beer - and play with your reloader (I have 2000 rds of 40 brass on the way) and I can fix it for you - IE8 sucks though

Ahh I don't want you to cry - I think our first step to a point match series - is for Jesse to become section coordinator - if we can get the OK Section to play nice - we can really make things happen - Start with a section match and go from there
