OKLAHOMA Open/Limited Championship 2012

I have some questions:

1-Since I am unclassified in limited will this match go towards my classification?
2-Is it a bad thing to shoot a major match unclassified?

I looked but can't find the reference in the handbook on what does and doesn't count, but a Level II and up doesn't have to have a "classifier" stage to count. I think it has to do with how many M's or GM's are in your division. In the example below we didn't shoot a classifier at Double Tap Championship but it counted.

Made it home from my travels and here are the stages.
I have a few changes to make to the stage briefing on stages 4 and 6, but here are the rest.
There is a classifier and it will be turned in. I do not see the match counting for classification, there is a requirement for the number of GMs that shoot it and It doesn't look like we will be there.

I'm speaking on my own here, but we have added 160 tons of new rock to the pistol bays. The other two have a fair amount of grass for support.

As with any match anywhere else, the shooters safety is first and foremost.
Weather conditions at the date of the match will determine what happens.

I am agreeing with Dennis. Safety first and the match will go on with a little rain. Right now, I would welcome it if it would get us some rain. My stuff is pretty dry.

You're believing a forecast for 10 days out?

I'm guessing the policy on rain is to refer to the pics from the last high cap hose down.

somewhere in that turd shaped goo is Mike's mag at the last rainy day High Cap Hose Down

That hi cap hose down was a hoot, just don't drop a mag or anything else for that matter! I was surprised how good the stages were considering the rain they received. The amount of gravel they added to the new bays looks like it can take A LOT of rain now

That "don't drop a mag" thing is harder than it sounds. I had planned to catch my mags when I dropped them, but habits kicked in and I did not catch a single mag at that match. Good thing there were some water puddles here and there. Allowed for easy clean up.
