OKLAHOMA Open/Limited Championship 2012

Damn... i'm in but never been to Ponca.... do i need to find a hotel the night before or can i drive up from Tulsa without getting up a 3 am?

Plus how do I like print out the application and all, or is there a link that I go to for it all?

The application is in the first post of this thread. It's a Microsoft Word Document, if you can't open that and need
a PDF file send me a PM with an email address and I'll create it in PDF for you to print out.

Here's the link to the waiver form on Ponca's Range Website: Waiver Link

If the match is going to be a Level II you must be a member of USPSA to shoot.

You're going to want to do this anyway though.

Stock gun will be fine but you'll do your best with mags holding at least 18 rounds of 40. Glock 22/35 mags with basepads can give you 20 rounds which would be best.

What about 3 magazines that hold 13 rounds? More than likely I'll be using my Glock 23. I have no idea if I'm gonna get me any full size magazines.

With a barney you're stepping to the line with 40 rounds, max round count would be 32 since it's a proper level II match.

It wouldn't be ideal, but its workable. I'd bet a large amount of money though someone on the forum would lend you some appropriate magazines. If you could borrow 2 20 rounders you'd be all set. The Ponca guys have all these steel plates they love to use, two of these contraptions are the Texas Star and The Polish Plate Rack, they have been known to drain mags in a hurry, and it is also why we love their matches.

I'm decent at the Texas Star but I've never heard of "The Polish Plate Rack". But I could still use the 3 regular Glock 23 magazines?
