Which leads to a question. Should the CMP games be brought to a more current, modern sport? I love the idea of getting a good cheap M1, but they have so few of those anymore for sale.

Seperate divisions would be nice. The old classics and the new stuff with current optics in use.

Yes. The CMP games aren't up to date by a long shot. Highly restrictive. Restrictions are for losers, just like laws.

The M1 Garand shoots 30.06

There is also a model of the M1 Garand that shoots .308. The were called "Navy Garands".
