Spring Swap Meet
OKCGC Clubhouse
March 26th, 2011
9:00am â€" 1:00pm

Due to the overwhelming turnout at last year’s Swap Meet, we are pleased to announce our 3rd Annual Swap Meet! Don’t miss this opportunity to get rid of all that unused stuff collecting dust, and meet some of your fellow club members at the same time! Buy, sell, trade up or trade down. Help a newcomer to your sport get started. Bring along a non-member guest to view our facilities. A guaranteed good time will be had by all.

The club has tables and chairs available. To reserve yours, please contact Andy Cobb at 405-473-4533 or email: [email protected].

No yard sale items, please.

I'm assuming by "Bring along a non-member..." that this is only open to members?

I plan to be there; want to see what's for sale; also plan to bring my daughter and her fiance

UPDATE: I just talked to Suzi Rouse at the OKCGC and she said that the Swap Meet is open to anyone who want to come. As long as you aren't shooting, you don't have to have a member go with you.

Where is OKCGC?

The Range is located north of the town of Arcadia, east of Edmond. From I-35, take Exit 141, which is the old route 66 eastbound. Arcadia is approximately 7 miles. Just past the middle of the town is a left turn for Anderson Road. You may also continue further east beyond Arcadia for another mile to Hiwassee Road and turn left.

Both roads work; the difference is more a matter of which entrance to the Club you are looking for. Action Pistol, Cowboy, Blackpowder, and Shotgun are closest via Hiwassee. The other ranges are closest to the Anderson Road entrance.

In either case, proceed northbound for approximately 3 miles until you arrive at Sorghum Mill Road [also marked as NE 234th Street]. Then:

- From Anderson Road, turn right and look for the main entrance to the Gun Club about 100 yards on your left.
- From Hiwassee, continue beyond the Sorghum Mill/234th Street turnoff and continue northbound. The shotgun area is about 3/10th of a mile on your left, and the Action Pistol, Cowboy, and Black Powder ranges are about 6/10th of a mile on the left.

Did anyone bring any goodies home?

Nope I was going to get some ear plugs made but I didnt want to wait around. There was a very nice Left Handed BDL in 30-06 for what I thought was a good price but Im a righty. Anyone know the guys that had the pups for sale by the back door?

I should have got some earplugs. That was a good deal at $40.

Clay Hoover was right next to the pups, he may know

There was a nice stainless Colt snubby that I sure was eyeballing. Also a guy had a M&P 40 full size for $400 which seemed pretty good.

Hoover had a Galco Combat Master for a 4" 1911 that I should have bought. If he didn't sell it I may still pick it up.
