The last match we had, I had to set up by myself. Mike Rush showed up towards the end after he found out I was setting it all up with no help. The match before that, was only me & Jesse setting it up. Both times ended up setting the last couple stages in the dark.
Even after setting up that last kick ass 6 stage shotgun match, there were only enough shooters that came out to make 1 squad. It seems as though there just aren't enough people interested in shooting shotguns. This was also apparent at the last multigun match as well. We had a 2gun (rifle/pistol) match & had quite a bit more participation than the last several 3Gun matches. Many of the shooters said the reason they came out was because there was no shotgun.
I'm really not interested in taking off work & setting up a match that nobody wants to shoot. Maybe when we get 3gun back on track & build the participation back up we can do shotgun matches again.
