Light modified choke is way too tight for most targets but it's just right enough for almost any targets. So lots of guys will run nothing but LM so they don't have to change chokes ever. Our bays st OKCGC aren't deep enough to really need more choke like an improved modified or full but an evil stage designer gmcoukd setup some heavy steel at 25 yards and then the LM would be the equivalent of using a cylinder bore because it wouldn't be tight enough. I think I'll try that next match just to screw over Rigsby.

Any brand is fine. I like the black oxide extended Briley chokes and the cheap Remington choke wrench.

Diffusion choke is a rifled choke from Briley. The rifling in the choke spins the shot much like rifling in a rifle barrel spins the bullet. What happens is the shot spreads really fast. Is considerably sober pattern then a cylinder bore choke or no choke at all. It's a fun home to use on clay tigers or anything easy like big poppers or any steel at 7-10 yards. It's a hoser choke, spray and pray.
 
If anyone shows up with a shotgun that holds less then 8 in the msg tube they will have issues on the worlds fastest load/unload stages. So we will have to let those shooters borrow a higher caisvjtt gun from a squad mate for those two stages.

I think I'm going to get a full and use my improved for anything else. The light modified looks to only go out a small bit passed improved so why would I bother

Mines 9+1. But it fits 10 in the tube. I just haven't tested it to ensure it'll function. It's like an 1/8" play to the shell catch
