OKCGC 5th Saturday Shotgun Match 7-30-16

It's time to break out the shotguns again.

We'll have standard (pump), practical/tactical (auto loader) & open divisions

We'll use time plus scoring with weighted stages.
Stages will be 5 points per target with stage winner getting max points & everyone else getting a percentage of the stage winner.
We'll use the std OKCGC 3gun rule set for everything else

All Shot is limited to #6 & 1300 fps normal target loads......NO TURKEY LOADS

Tentative round count is 87 bird shot, 9 slugs, 10 buckshot.....Bring Extra of Each
This will most likely change (come down a little) as we're putting stages on the ground

Due to the heat, we'll be having 6 stages ALL IN THE BAYS, no stage in the woods this time.

Set up will be Friday around 2:00 - All help is welcome & appreciated, Need 4whl drive truck capable of towing the war wagon

Sign up will be Sat morning at 8:30
Shooting at 9:00

I thought about making it an earlier start but I have a 45min drive to get to the range to hang targets, set steel etc before everyone else shows up & we start sign in. This puts me there about 1- 1 1/2 hours ahead of everyone else already.

Yep, I'm not planning on anything epic stage wise, just a little shotgun fun. A little hosing & a little technical, nothing physically demanding.

Never shot a shotgun match before but thinking about coming out.

Dilemma #1: My shotgun is a brand new, bone stock Beretta 1301, haven't shot it yet.

Dilemma #2: Currently can't use my right eye, so I am in the process of learning to shoot long guns left handed using my left eye.

Needless to say I'd be VERY slow.
