OKC Gun Club three new Ponds (Berms)

OKC Gun Club has made three new shooting bays where the old rifle range was.

I hope they put some fill dirt in the bottom of them to absorb water.
They have about a 30 degree down ward slope to ward the back.
If it rains they will become ponds.

I purposefully missed hearing that one.

But those fishing ponds make sense though cause last I heard, OKCGC was working on doing IDPA. So there you have it.

Apparently we need old gun to direct the construction at the gun club.

Im anxiously awaiting the OGGC, where everything will be perfect, there will be ballistic kevlar netting and the berms will be sloped at a 15degree upwards angle for 600yds.

Are the back berms of the bays on the west end (i.e. shooters facing west)?

The three new berms are on the north end of the three small shooting bays (Where the rifle range was closed)
The back side of the bay is to the west. Shooter is shooting west. (Bays are very deep and angled down to ward the west. Back berm is very tall)

I hope they add some fill dirt to correct the downward slope in side the bays and drainage problem

No kidding. I was super excited to get to finally try steel challenge. Watching it was the reason I got into shooting sports. It's been canceled or not scheduled ever since I started playing. :[ oh well, got to admit, I've always thought CAS with some cap and ball revos would be fun, so I can't be too mad at the Cowboys.
