I heard a few members are taking their orientation at OKCGC this Saturday. One guy was told to show up with his app and $ to the meeting and he was in. So if you wnat to join the club now is the time.

What time is the orientation??? Is it at the main clubhouse?
Mine was at the shotgun range clubhouse, but they may have changed it since then.

so, the first year's dues are $180 plus a $50 extra fee? they won't take any off of the first year for a work day like the next year's dues?

Main Clubhouse 9:00 am.
Work days are mandatory the first year with no money off.

It says that in on their site and in the paperwork they give you, but that is not a fact. My first year was last year and they only make you do the work day if you want to get the $80 off.

Sounds like .gov. Take your money and mandate you work for them.

I guess they're not consistent then. They told our class that it was not required unless we want the discount. I then worked a day and got the discount when I renewed a few months later. Hmm.....
Are you a cowboy shooter (SASS)?
We need someone that does the cowboy stuff to start posting info on here. It's one of the areas we're lacking on this forum.

+1. That sport is huge but there is no local info source that I'm aware of. I'd line to try that stuff one if these days too.
