Ok 4th Saturday in November is going to be a 3-gun match at OKC Gun CLub. Yes I know it is Turkey time, but I need to get this started so here it is! Be warned it is a Kurt Miller style 3-gun, not the close hoser stuff like 3GN. Pistol Caliber Carbines are welcome as long as they make the Minor power floor of 150 PF. Plan on some 120-130 yard targets for rifle, some 50 yard slug shots, and a little buckshot for score. Tony Wall was going to put this on for me as I was going to be out of town, but that has changed, so skill tests and equipment tests will be the order of the day. We are NOT going to get crazy on the shotgun loading aspect.

Where do you buy 150pf 9mm Ammo? +P+ maybe?

I asked Kurt if I could set two stages and he agreed. One will be a 20-25 round jungle run around the berm similar to what we did at the all shotgun match.
The other will consist of buckshot on a Texas star at 25-35 yards. Some easy/fast pistol and rifle work.

Some premium self defense ammo will make it. Gold Dot 124 +P and Federal HST 147 +P are two that will make it in pistol length barrels. The Gold Dot made 155pf minimum with an average of 158pf out of my 5" M&P.

Ain't nobody gonna shoot $.80/round self defense Ammo in a match. Might as well shoot heavy metal.

Jungle run is set. 23 rounds including a swinger with two plates and a double clay flipper. Gonna be fun!
