OKC Gun Club 3 Gun Sunday December 19th

How's the club match scene down there, Austin?

It's pretty good - there's a good USPSA match every month about 20 min away from my apartment every month when it doesn't get rained out. Everything else is an hour plus away, though. Went and shot a shotgun match in Dallas last month, good practice. There's a carbine match around the same area, haven't made it to that one yet.

Setup will be Saturday around the 1:00pm timeframe. Any and all help is welcome and certainly appreciated. Plus, you get to see the madness that makes the stages ours! :)

Nice to know there is someone local that does this. Guess I need to start attending more often.

I really want to try to hit the ICORE classifier match then I'll come stand around and complain about my leg hurting and watch you guys setup.

What kind of matches are there on the first Saturday or first Sunday in the Fort Worth area? I'll be down there for a gun show and would like to shoot a match while there. Thanks, Mitch

Sorry, not as familiar with the Fort Worth side of things. But from what I've got bookmarked, I'm not seeing anything that would be less than 1.5+ hours away.

Jesse actually shot a total of 3 matches this weekend despite being injured.
I'd like to have that level of dedication, but I also enjoy being able to use my key on my front door when I get home.
Way to go J.T. good for you.

It was a great match really showed me I really need to work on shooting with my hand gun and need to get different sights for my rifle.

Hey folks. Thanks for coming out yesterday. I will be posting the scores tonight. I left the little computer at home today.. I do know that overall, Mike Seeklander was HOA followed closely by Erick "Sweet Lovin" Crotsley. Thanks to everyone that helped out yesterday tearing down. Next one is January 16th. Setup will be the 15th. I really need some help with setup next month..

Thanks!

Mike

Check this crap out. My new amigo Ricky that shot his first match yesterday caught the itch something fierce. He was at H&H today tradign in his 1187 on a new Benelli M2 and Glock 34. I guess he will be joining us for the January match. Pretty nice kit!
