As a side note, I will have entry forms at the May 1st Carrygun match, so you can sign up then for the Inaugural .22 Tactical Rifle Championship.

I took some forms to HO and they told me they're starting to get calls on this, so the word is getting out outside the forums.

I take it there will not be any tube magazines allowed? I know its not very tactical but thats what some of us have. Just wondering.

EDIT: I just saw an earlier post about no tube magazines allowed. I have a "special" gun that I might have to pull out for this match

Each stage is 30 shots. I don't want somebody trying to "speedload" a tubular magazine when there is likely a live round in the chamber and not being able to tell if the safety is on.

One stage has a mandatory reload.

David and I were discussing his ideas for stages at the last carry gun match. This thing is gonna be fun and challenging. I can't wait. Oh and bring your knee and elbow pads for sure.

Like I said at the carry gun match if anyone wants to shoot but lacks a .22 you are welcome to shoot mine. I'll even tell you where the zero is at.

Someone called HO and asked if the "standard" division will shoot the stages differently than the "tactical"division. IE; standard shoots the stage from the bench while Tac division goes to each position.

The answer is NO.

Both divisions will shoot the stage from the same positions, etc.

Standard division is for the guy that doesn't see what an AR style .22 can do any better than his stock 10-22. (and he might be right!)

HOWEVER.....

Since we are limiting this to 40 shooters, it may become necessary to handle this like a larger match where entries will need to be sent in.

Instead of waiting to see if there's a problem, or people don't come because they fear they might be Shooter #41, let's do this:

This will allow anyone who wants to shoot it get a guaranteed slot.

David, I sent my entry form and fees to the address above and it just got returned to me as "Attempted, Address Not Known". I rechecked the address and it was right as indicated above. Do you have another address I can send this to?

I thought I had my paperwork in but had my letter returned in the mail this weekend. I would like 2 slots if they are available but would be willing to drop down to one slot if we run out of slots and someone else wants to enter.
