"October 15th, there is going to be a match held at Heartland Outdoors.

This is a benefit/fundraising match for the Oklahoma Officer Down Foundation.

http://www.oklaodf.org/

All match fees will go towards this fine organization.

The match starts at 10 am and will continue until there are no more shooters!

Cost is $25 per run.

The prizes are:

1st place: AR-15 rifle.

2nd place: XD-m

3rd place: Glock

The match will consist of 36 rds, involve long range accuracy with strong hand/weak hand, along with rapid fire, all under time pressure. Total up the points, less any penalties and highest score wins.

Easy, right?

Required equipment will be a centerfire handgun, 9mm/.38 or larger caliber, along with 2 spare mags or two speedloaders (you will need them!)

NO IPSC RACEGUNS, lasers, red-dots or compensators. Glock "C" model pistols excepted.

A holster is not required.

There is not a lot of time to get the word out on this, so please tell your buddies about it!!

If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll find out the answer for you. Meanwhile, check out that link to read for yourself about this important organization.

Let's help make this match a major success!!!"
