I have considered building a rifle rated star but the reset time has kept me from doing it.
Looks like we have a VOLUNTEER :codemafia:David Marlow said:A star for rifle? I'd volunteer to be the runner on my squad to reset it after each shooter just to try that thing. Hell, I'd reset it after my own run.
With a rifle it's not worth the hassle. Prone it's too easy. Offhand the shooting is slow enough that it won't be moving fast.LoganbillJ said:I have considered building a rifle rated star but the reset time has kept me from doing it.
I'm still waiting for MGM to contact me about the Home Range Makeover TV show. Something tells me I'll be waiting a bit. I think the star is one of those things that works well to psych some folks out because it's perceived as being more difficult than it is. It is kinda funny watching someone spend a mag chasing a couple plates around in circles. I wonder if having all but two of the arms block by hard cover would make it more fun wth a rifle.Jesse Tischauser said:With a rifle it's not worth the hassle. Prone it's too easy. An MGM rifle plate rack is a much more efficient target too.
We shot a star at the High Plains match that had hard cover across the middle. You only saw the plates at the top and bottom.David Marlow said:I'm still waiting for MGM to contact me about the Home Range Makeover TV show. Something tells me I'll be waiting a bit.
