Offhand rifle accuracy?

I have considered building a rifle rated star but the reset time has kept me from doing it.
With a rifle it's not worth the hassle. Prone it's too easy. Offhand the shooting is slow enough that it won't be moving fast.

An MGM rifle plate rack is a much more efficient target too.

I'm still waiting for MGM to contact me about the Home Range Makeover TV show. Something tells me I'll be waiting a bit. I think the star is one of those things that works well to psych some folks out because it's perceived as being more difficult than it is. It is kinda funny watching someone spend a mag chasing a couple plates around in circles. I wonder if having all but two of the arms block by hard cover would make it more fun wth a rifle.

We shot a star at the High Plains match that had hard cover across the middle. You only saw the plates at the top and bottom.
Shotgun match.
