New Obama reg bans putting information about guns online (without his permisson) - a "gag order on firearm-related speech" according to the National Rifle Association. The basic jist is because of the Internet, any "public domain" information can now be considered "exported" because it can be accessed by non-US citizens here and abroad, so it has to be reviewed and approved.

Sounds like an end run to ban/censor the 3D printing files for firearms related stuff, and they don't care that they're throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
