Colt Number meanings?

I am a new subscriber recently retired in Georgia. I have a stainless Series 80 MKIV Gold Cup NM that I've owned for around 20+ years. It has a small 5 on the upper front left side of the trigger guard and a larger 7 on the upper right front side of the guard. Can anybody tell me what, if any, meaning they might have? Thanks!

I believe it's Colt inspector stamp

Yes, one is an assembler stamp, the other an inspector stamp.
