So the news conference start one protester gets up with a sign and the media jumps up an focused on him. He was escorted out then after a few minutes another gets up with a sign and again the media jumps all over it to show her. I'm truly amazed by the media bias you don't see this at a press conference for the President. Even in Wiener's speech when he was stepping down from office, no focus on the person heckling him. I did like his speech about the Press going over board to show on every event that has a gun involved. A lot of good point made but I'm sure the protesters will get equal press in the paper.

The "Media"... Has proven itself to have a BIASED Perspective.! None of the FACTS (Except the ones on their AGENDA) have been given equal time.! Learn the TRUTH, on Your own.! Cuz the "Media"... won't tell it.!

The media is for sure biased, but the gun community needs to play it's cards very smartly right now. I don't think that statement was really in the best interest of the gun community as a whole. I don't think the faithful need to be rallied...

although i will agree on a media bias, this is not an example of it... if i jumped up with a sign during a Reid/Obama/etc.. speech everyone would focus on me.. shoot if i jumped up in a movie with a sign, people would take out their cell phones and videotape me... all this shows is that the NRA did a sucky job of screening people.. also the Wiener guy was replayed about 2 million times by all media from CNN to the daily show...

also now the "entertainment" industry is having to defend itself from NRA statements, that are almost identical to the statements made against guns!!

I understand a cell phone being used to view or hear comments made by a protester. Thats usually the view of how we get to see it later. It happens all the time but not the main camera switching off of the speaker and showing the press jump over chairs to video tape the signs, which happen in this news conference with Lapierre. I've heard the heckler from Wieners speech many of time but I have yet to see the video of him and didn't see the camera switch off of Wiener during his speech. Maybe it's happen plenty of times before but I have never seen anything like this before.
