Outdoor Bullseye Pistol matches, or NRA conventional pistol, is a competition which focuses on accuracy with a pistol. It is shot standing using an unrested one handed grip.

Outdoor Bullseye is shot in 900 point matches. There are three courses of fire: slow fire, timed fire, and rapid fire. Slow fire is shot at 50 yards at a NRA B6 target with 10 minutes for 10 shots. Timed fire is shot at 25 yards at a NRA B8 target with 10 shots in 40 seconds (shot in two 5 shot strings with 20 seconds per string). Rapid fire is shot at 25 yards at a NRA B8 target with 10 shots in 20 seconds (shot in two 5 shot strings with 10 seconds per string). Each target has scoring rings rated at 5 through 10(x), with the x ring being the center smallest ring. Each match is shot with 9 courses of fire: 2 slow fire courses, National Match courses (1 slow fire, 1 timed fire, 1 rapid fire), 2 timed fire courses, and 2 rapid fire courses. This a total of 90 shots for a total high score of 900pts.

A NRA 2700 match consists of 3, 900 matches. a .22 rimfire match, a centerfire match (any centerfire pistol .32 or larger), and a .45 match (any .45 caliber pistol).
