I do want to get a picatinny on there some where so I can mount my light/laser combo on it. Make a good "oh elephant dung, there was just a bump in the night" bedside gun.

Nordic Components makes a barrel/tube clamp with a rail on it.

I was looking at those vs replacing the fore-grip with one that has a picatinny. Does anyone have any experience with the kind that clamp on? Seems like those things would get bumped around a lot.

Ah, never mind. I see how they attach between the barrel and ammo tube so they stay put. Handy little gadget.

My clamp on light brackets have outlasted several lights. Way stronger than they look but you need a light that can handle the recoil.
