Went out this afternoon and put this thing through its paces and boy did I have a blast even though it was kinda windy. I shot about 800 rounds of Remington Golden Bullet bulk pack. I also did a range report on 5 different match ammos. I have the 16" upper and the range report shots were taken at 25 yards with an EoTech for optics, shooting prone and a sandbag for a front rest.

Ammo used was:

Eley Target
Standard Plus
Aguila Subsonic
Wolf Match Extra
Wolf Match Target

2 targets each of 5 shot groups total

The orange part of the targets are 1.5"

On the top row second from left and the far right targets I got a 2 round burst on the 1st shot. The 2nd round of the 1st shot marked by its own circle

Dial that eotech down in intensity; you can get better groups than that from that setup; its almost identical to mine.

How many malfs did you get??

LOL. I'm and idiot! I never thought about turning it down real low. I had it on about 1/4 brightness. I'll defiantly try that next weekend and get it down to where it's a real small dot. I might toss on a 4x scope I've got lying around. I didn't have any malfunctions out of any of the match ammo. I got maybe 15 ftf's from the remington bulk pack out of around 750.

There will be a HUGE variance between what that ammo is doing at 25 yards and what it is doing at 50 yards. Especially with the less accurate stuff.

Seeing some photos and discussion from the Nordic group buy makes me wish I would've jumped in with you guys.

Went and shot another set of groups after lunch. turned the brightness down and boy did that help. Heres what I did

Both days and 4 groups each averaged
1.790 eley
1.097 standard plus
0.930 Aguila
1.367 Wolf Match Extra
1.663 Wolf match target

Those are nice groups out of the Aguila and the Standard Plus.

I have to wait to check mine since this upper doesn't like my rear take down pin. I've put it on an LMT lower and another M&P lower and it goes onto those just fine. This sucks. I have a few groups with it on the LMT lower but I really want to wait until I can spend a good bit of time with various ammo.

Looking good, though.

I'm not a super marksmen, and my NC22 wasn't in a sled or strapped down or anything. I also had a crappy DPMS LPK to test for accuracy that time I was at the range. I've got some 2 stage triggers and whatnot to test it with now, once I get my upper back. I had the older barrel which apparently something in the feedramp area caused the occasional flyer? Anyways, I'm getting a new barrel on my NC22 upper right now at Nordic and we'll see how that effects the occasional flyers. I was shooting 10 round groups just to get a better idea of an average. I'll shoot some 3-5 round groups with a 2stage when I get it back to see what I can do.
