Hello,
Just getting started in 3 gun I need a Nordic + 5 extension to finish up my M2. Talked to Nordic today and she said none in stock and no idea when they might have them. Any ideas on who might have one in stock?

Thanks,

I need a +5 as well but I was told they are out of stock on nuts. Same difference as you can run one without a nut.

Now to hijack this thread. If I can get the Nordic +9 for the same price as the +8, is there any reason not to? I'm running a VM with 22" barrel so there will obviously be a significant extension with the +9. How much is too much?

I don't know how many rounds a stock VersaMax tube holds, but I run a +9 on my Benellis for a total of 12rds in the tube. That way I can load 8 for division capacity (TacOp) and then after the buzzer I can quad load and have 12+1 for those long shotgun stages. You can go with as long of tube as the dump barrels will allow.

The longer the tube the less reliable it is. Going past a 12rd tube doesn't have much benefit because of loading techniques.

Plus, the longer they are, the more likely they are to fall or bounce out of a barrel.

I will measure the tube on the one I have at home. V-Max Tactical?

Yes, VM Tactical. 8+1 right now. If I'm not mistaken, the stock mag tube holds four and it has a four round NC extension. +9 would give me 13 in the tube. My thought is with a 12 round tube, I will nearly always be fine, but with a 13 round tube, I will always have the capacity to quad load with very little concern for trying to stuff too many in. I am fully aware that I don't know my ass from a cheerio here, just spitballing.

Get a Nordic coupler and a +4 tube. That way you can fit in with the 3-gun crowd with a long shlong 12rder and when your chilling at the public range or taking a tactical class you can flush up your tube with your barrel so the tactical guys don't think your a soon to be dead in the streets gamer.

The +4 and +8 are the same price. Assuming I don't care what Tactical Ted gunshop Rambos and keyboard commandos think, if I get the +4, am I risking losing reliability with multiple connection points, or does the system fit together closely enough that segment numbers don't matter?

I haven't run mine enough to say for sure but Nordic Wouldnt sell it if it wasn't reliable.

I'd get the +8 if I were you.
