I can't seem to settle on a particular style of caddy to start out with in 3-gun. Suggestions? Anybody have some old ones they're looking to sell?

What I started with is http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2394267180/california-competition-works-shell-caddy-tactical-shotshell-ammunition-carrier-12-gauge-6-round-2-3-4-and-3-shells-polymer?cm_vc=ProductFinding

They work rather well.

I am now working on getting some invictus dueses and quad loaders. But I would def start with the standard caddy they are always great to keep in the bag to lend people or even use when you may need more shells on a 29 shotgun stage like the Gen 3 gun match had lol

I think figuring out what load method you wanna go with can help. Drop Dueces or Quads. I just switched to quads and use the taccom double quads and have yet to have a fumble issue. They release easy enough but hold retention. For load 2 i liked carbon arms. There are just so many to choose from...no absolute answer

If you want to load two, I have a set of AC Customs that I'd like to sell.

Having a standard caddy or two is always a good idea. Sometimes you only need one round and it's hard to pull just one from a load-2 or quad load caddy. As far as other caddies go I highly recommend the Invictus Practical 2.8 caddies since they work for either load-2 or quad load.

I use a Mark Otto chest rig. I started with this and I still use it today. I've tried others and this type works best for me. It will hold 24 rounds so for most big stages it is all you need. I also have a few belt loaders but hardly use them. You can the vest in my profile pic.

To start out, I recommend inexpensive Choate 6 round caddies and weak hand loads if you haven't had load port mods done. That said, Jeff's Otto vests are awesome, as well as the Invictus stuff. But the Choate caddies will get you going and you can try others before you lay down the coin.
