I am a retired state employee with around 25 years in the elevator industry. Four years in the Navy aboard an aircraft carrier. I have been shooting since very young with my dad.I build a number of AR's, different calibers. I am working on some 1911's in different calibers. I am very interested in 38 Supers. I bought and modified some Glocks but not keeping them. One of my biggest regrets is selling a 1911 my dad purchased through military surplus in the fifties. He bought two Springfield 1903A3's for $12.50 each and the 1911 for $25.00 and I sold it for $25.00 and customized the 1903A3. Go ahead and kick me. I have a LLama minimax in 38 super that works well. It is 38 super and not a 9 mm Largo.

Oh the good old days...I bought three surplus guns through the DCM.
A Remington 1911 almost new condition, an M1 carbine in good condition, and an 03A3 Springfield.
Each one was less then twenty dollars.
